Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)
Last Updated: October 4, 2026 • Effective immediately for all clients and portal users.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website, registering for the Client Portal, requesting diagnostic inspection, or authorizing service estimates provided by MJ Solution ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Client", "User", or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not access the services or portal.
2. End User License Agreement (EULA) for Client Portal
Subject to compliance with these terms, MJ Solution grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the MJ Solution Client Portal solely for monitoring support tickets, viewing diagnostic notes, approving estimates, viewing billing statements, and managing authorized device records. You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer, probe for vulnerabilities, or scrape data from the portal.
3. Customer Backup Responsibility & Data Loss Disclaimer
DATA BACKUP IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.
You acknowledge that electronic devices, storage media (including SSDs, HDDs, NVMe drives, USB media), and operating systems submitted for diagnostics or repair are subject to sudden, unforeseen failure. MJ Solution, its owners, and technicians shall under no circumstances be held liable for loss, corruption, alteration, or recovery failure of any software, operating system files, databases, documents, photos, or confidential data residing on your equipment.
4. Diagnostic Inspections & Estimates
Diagnostic inspections are conducted to determine root causes of reported malfunctions. MJ Solution prepares an itemized estimate for all repairs exceeding initial diagnostic authorization. No billable repair work begins until the customer grants approval via the Client Portal, email, or written authorization. Disassembly or inspection of pre-damaged devices (especially liquid-damaged, dropped, or motherboard-faulted hardware) may reveal secondary pre-existing faults for which MJ Solution bears no responsibility.
5. Limited Service & Parts Warranty
Replacement hardware components are covered by the original manufacturer warranty (typically 30–90 days, or as expressly stated in your itemized estimate). Labor performed by MJ Solution carries a thirty (30) day limited workmanship warranty. Exclusions from Warranty: Liquid ingress or corrosion, physical impact or drop damage, electrical power surges or lightning strikes, customer tampering, unapproved third-party repairs, software malware/virus reinfections, or unauthorized firmware modifications.
6. Abandonment & Unclaimed Equipment Policy
Upon notification via email, portal notice, or telephone that your equipment is ready for collection (or that an estimate was declined), you have thirty (30) calendar days to collect your equipment and settle any outstanding balance. Equipment left unclaimed after sixty (60) days is subject to a daily storage fee. Equipment remaining unclaimed after ninety (90) days from the first notification shall be deemed legally abandoned, and MJ Solution reserves the legal right to dispose of, recycle, or sell the equipment to offset accrued storage and service fees in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Limitation of Total Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MJ SOLUTION, ITS PROPRIETORS, DIRECTORS, TECHNICIANS, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA, REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, OR EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT COSTS), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY CLAIM OR SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL MONETARY AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO MJ SOLUTION FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
8. Payment Terms & Late Balances
Invoices are payable upon receipt or according to agreed terms indicated on the billing statement. Outstanding balances not settled within 14 days of due date may result in suspension of customer portal privileges, withholding of uncollected repaired assets, or formal debt recovery proceedings.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement and all business transactions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Suriname. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paramaribo, Suriname.
